About Our School
This preschool is a non-profit, parent operated business. We em-ploy a fully qualified and licensed teacher. Our facility offers a creative learning environment, encouraging the growth of children and par-ents. We provide a variety of materials, play-mates and experiences. We are working in a partnership with School District #23, and have a spacious classroom within Black Mountain Elementary School, use of the gym and library, and a fenced outdoor play area.

FIRST OPTION: FULL PARENT PARTICIPATION
For a reduced fee, your responsibilities are:
*To attend monthly parent education meetings.
*Be responsible for one job within the school.
*Participate in the classroom (duty day) 1 to 3 times per month.(An-other caregiver (nanny/grandparent) may act for the parent)
*Provide a snack and drink for your child.
*Participate in fundraising.
SECOND OPTION: PARTIAL PARTICIPATION
To enable all families to join our preschool we have the option of partial participation, where parents are not required to participate in the classroom. These spaces are limited so early registration is recommended. Call the school for more information!
Our Award Winning Teacher
"Teacher Bev" has been with our preschool since she graduated from the Early Childhood Education program in 1983. She is well loved by her students and works with parents as partners in their child's Preschool experience. Bev is sensitive to children’s uniqueness, and is skilled at meeting their intellectual, social and emotional needs. She has her ECE license to practice, current first aid and meets Licensing standards. Teacher Bev is our school's greatest asset.
